HEALTH INSURANCE
Unless you won a scholarship, you should buy the health insurance at your own expense.
Locate the physicians, in your area, who are in the list of the insurance company so that you could save time in emergencies. Normally, there is a phone number or website address on your insurance card.
If you have a problem (*) and need to see the doctor, you should check if you may have to co-pay the treatment cost, and how much your share may be.
(*) The spring blossoms may cause allergy to your eyes, and you may not know which eye drop is good for treatment. Consult the ophthalmologists twice cost me $250 each.
After a doctor's appointment, you will receive an Explanation of Benefits. If you may be billed later, check with the insurance company the reason and have it solved before the doctor send you the bill.
